Come, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!
Holiness present in the solid strength
of the earth beneath us.
Holiness present in the silent power
of the sun’s rays beaming through space.
Holiness present in our own breath
that is a gift from God.
Holiness present in the mystery
of the Spirit that joins us as a church.
God of creation,
open us to the beauty in and around us
in this hour of worship.
This morning, God,
we want everything to be for your glory.
We want our thoughts, our words, our songs,
our church, our community,
our resources, our time, our lives–
all to be for you.
Everything ours is yours,
and we come together to declare this to be so,
on this Sunday, your holy day.
Bless our time together with your holy presence, Amen

of the earth beneath us.
Holiness present in the beating
of the sun and stars.
Holiness present in the chorus of life,
breathing together, even here in this room.
God of creation,
open us to the beauty in and around us
in this hour of worship
Call the congregation,
assemble the people,
join together in worship to God!
We long to be made holy through the Spirit
who sanctifies us in Jesus’ name.
We dedicate this hour to God,
and to God’s glory.
Let’s pray:
Here we are God!
We’ve come from our week
filled with many things.
Some are filled with joy and excitement;
others with sorrow and despair.
