Thank you, God, for this congregation.
You have been with us since day one.
Your presence guiding us,
your light leading us even in difficult times
when the path was hard to find.
You were with us through the pandemic,
through changes and challenges.
Bless our annual general meeting this year.
We want to give thanks to those who served,
and empower those who take on new positions.
We want to use our money wisely.
Open our eyes to discern new directions
and if there are difficult decisions to be made,
we know that you will help us.
We want our church to be a witness to you,
immersed in scripture, constant in prayer,
joyful in worship, generous in giving:
a loving, supportive community
reaching out to those in need.
That’s our hope.
You know we aren’t perfect,
there are aches and pains in this body,
but we trust that your love
keeps us together and keeps us going.
Let everything we say and do be for your glory,
in this meeting and in the whole year to come.
