You are the Great Provider,
the Giver of all gifts;
your love the only true currency.
Thank you for putting money into our hands,
and so we freely offer it back to you,
for use in your service.
We do this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
2 Corinthians 9:7 and
God of grace,
it is our delight and our devotion
to give these gifts to you.
All we are and all we have
are yours alone.
Accept this joyful offering
as a token of our abiding love:
use it to bring peace, justice
and comfort to all the world, Amen.
Like the disciples at Emmaus,
we offer what we have.
They offered their company,
their table, their bread.
We invite you to be with us, Jesus,
as we offer you our love,
our devotion, these gifts.
May our eyes be opened
to your holy presence among us,
now and always. Amen.
God of great wonders,
we join with you in the joy of this season of giving,
You gave us a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.
You give us life and breath,
you fill the world with beauty,
our hands with bounty,
and our hearts with the desire to give.
Accept these gifts,
and ourselves in service always,
Accept these humble gifts we pray
and in our hearts forever stay.
With these gifts may You bring peace
that suffering, want and war may cease.
Amen.
God, we want our congregation to be a witness to you:
immersed in scripture,
constant in prayer,
joyful in worship,
generous in giving.
A loving, supportive community
reaching out to those in need.
Accept these gifts we offer, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Holy Wisdom:
We want to walk the path of generosity
but something holds us back.
We are fearful;
we don’t know how much money we will need
or how much money we can spare.
You invite us to faithful living.
Guided by your Spirit,
confident in your voice showing us the way,
we give these gifts faithfully, joyfully,
in the name of Jesus, our Saviour. Amen.
God of grace, we hear your call to generous giving
in the way you meet our needs each day,
and in the peace you give which passes understanding.
Having received so much, we offer all we have,
our time, talents and money for your kingdom.
Bless these gifts for the work of your church. Amen
God of Great gifts,
we give you these gifts today
knowing that you are the Father of gifts.
You mother us constantly
providing for us, caring for us.
As we have been abundantly provided for,
so we give abundantly to the work that you give us to do,
the work of the church,
the care for those who are poor.
